It can be difficult to spot the female contributors in Scandinavian landscape architecture if you are searching for them in archives and history books about 20th century architecture. We have addressed this issue by establishing an international research network called ‘Where are the Women in Scandinavian Architecture?’.

In March 2022, we held our second physical meeting – this time in Oslo, Norway.

We were about 20 researchers from Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway who met on campus Ås, all of whom participated in the workshop with the common purpose of contributing to a more complete understanding of female contributors to Scandinavian landscape architecture.
